Turismo En Volcán: Impactos Socio-Culturales Y En El Medio Ambiente

Abstract

El presente ensayo es un compendio de los principales hallazgos obtenidos tras una investigación realizada en un destino turístico de Panamá: el corregimiento de Volcán. Gracias al apoyo recibido por la Secretaria Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (SENACYT) y la Universidad Especializada de las Américas (UDELAS) se pudo concretar esta iniciativa. Entre los resultados expuestos destacan los impactos generados hacia el medio ambiente local y algunos de los impactos socio-culturales analizados.
