Acciones Indeseables De Los Tic-Medios Sobre La Educación Ambiental

Abstract

En este trabajo argumentaremos que la educación en general y en particular la ambiental, tanto formal como no formal, en el caso ideal de que se realicen con una efectividad considerable (lo cual está muy lejos de la realidad) a través de actividades planificadas en las escuelas, no sólo no puede tener un desarrollo importante en el medio en que nos desenvolvemos, sino que sufre una destrucción desde los medios de comunicación potenciados por las TIC (TIC-medios), llámense estos televisión o Internet; lo que se hubiera esperado, lo deseado, era que por el contrario, se vieran fortalecidas por estas tecnologías. Lo anterior se ve mediante el análisis de cuatro ejemplos concretos: la televisión, los video-juegos, Internet y el celular. No dejamos de notar la potencialidad de los TIC-medios en la EA, pero nos enfocamos más a las acciones indeseables.
