Abstract

Debido a la crisis ambiental, en la actualidad, surge la necesidad de que en las instituciones educativas de nivel superior como el Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora (ITSON), cuenten con un Plan Ambiental Institucional y ofrezcan programas educativos de licenciatura y posgrado relacionados con el medio ambiente, para formar egresados con una mayor sensibilización ambiental. El objetivo del presente estudio consiste en determinar el nivel de alfabetización ambiental y el grado de relación entre los componentes ambientales (actitud, comportamiento y conocimiento) en los alumnos de Ingeniería en Ciencias Ambientales (ICA) en el ITSON, mediante un instrumento diseñado en el Centro de Educación Ambiental en Wisconsin (WCEE), E.U.A.
