Doñana Y Su Agrobiodiversidad Tradicional. Notas De Investigación Agroecológica

Abstract

El interés por la biodiversidad tradicional cultivada comenzó a emerger como campo de investigación aplicado al desarrollo de los pueblos, desde hace ya casi 40 años, si bien en la última década ha experimentado un especial desarrollo. Esta biodiversidad, las variedades locales y el conocimiento tradicional sobre su manejo, son patrimonios de los pueblos que los han generado y los atesoran, y que en la actualidad se revelan como acicates de desarrollo endógeno, asociado principalmente a la producción ecológica. Con el interés de profundizar en el patrimonio etnoagrícola del entorno del Parque Nacional de Doñana, y sus posibilidades de recuperación, se llevó a cabo una investigación sobre el mismo en 2006 y 2007. En el texto que sigue se ofrecen datos preliminares de investigación sobre la agrobiodiversidad local de Doñana, especialmente de aquellos cultivos con un mayor interés para la producción ecológica: los hortícolas manejados tradicionalmente en la zona.
