Los inventarios y sus efectos en la liquidez de las empresas comerciales

Abstract

El presente artículo presenta información para mejorar el manejo de los inventarios en una empresa comercial, los inventarios forman parte de los activos corrientes y es muy importante una apropiada y eficiente administración de los inventarios y del capital de trabajo, lo cual optimizara la liquidez en las en las empresas comerciales. Debido al volumen de los inventarios que manejan estas empresas se requiere que se apliquen sistemas de control para el manejo adecuado de los mismos y así evitar una excesiva compra de inventario. Cabe recalcar que las empresas deben optimizar la administración de inventarios para mantener una rentabilidad que fortalezca sus habilidades y aproveche las ventajas de los descuentos, buscando un equilibrio con un nivel apropiado de mercadería y de almacenaje, que pueda afrontar la demanda sin llegar a niveles de endeudamiento que afecte la estructura financiera de la empresa.
