Abstract

El propósito de este artículo es presentar una breve descripción de la regulación de los precios lineales. Si suponemos que la firma eligió un esfuerzo, luego de observar la función de costos para discutir el nivel óptimo de pasaje de costo. En este caso la firma no enfrenta ningún riesgo, entonces el grado de aversión al riesgo por parte de la firma es irrelevante. Hemos considerado como supuesto que la demanda es elástica y unitaria; si no consideramos este supuesto la eficiencia asignativa se convierte en un problema, por lo que el regulador no puede usar las transferencias no condicionadas como instrumento, complicando el problema considerablemente
