íntesis Metodológica de los aportes de la economía a la ciencia regional: del orden al caos y de lo simple a lo complejo

Abstract

El propósito de este artículo, consiste en proporcionar un panorama de los aportes de la Ciencia Regional, cuyo objeto de estudio, es la región. La síntesis teórica se centra en tres paradigmas: el de la localización, que predominó en el pasado reciente; del desarrollo, visión predominante en la actualidad; y el de la complejidad y el caos, que surge como una visión emergente, para el abordaje efectivo de los problemas actuales que exige que el desarrollo regional, el cual se enfoca hacia soluciones multicausales, multifuncionales, multidisciplinarias e interregionales, incluyendo aspectos económico y sociales, ambientales, territoriales, de infraestructura, servicios, etc. Estas circunstancias están enfocando el futuro de la Ciencia Regional hacia la complejidad y el caos.
