Abstract

Una encuesta realizada por CA entre CIOs (principales ejecutivos del área de Sistemas) reveló que todos ellos sentían que sus organizaciones debían enfrentar una complejidad cada vez mayor. Asimismo, más de un tercio indicó que esa complejidad estaba aumentando de manera exponencial. Esta mayor complejidad es impulsada por muchos factores: nuevas tecnologías, ciclos de vida de desarrollo de aplicaciones más cortos, desarrollo iterativo, proyectos y recursos mejor distribuidos desde el punto de vista geográfico, mayor diversidad de herramientas y mayores riesgos.
