Metodología De Asignación De Cupos De Emisor Con Base Al Modelo Camel Aplicado A Entidades Financieras

Abstract

Los hechos acontecidos durante la última década revelaron la existencia de algunas deficiencias en los sistemas de supervisión, análisis y control de entidades financieras. En particular, la falta de un análisis estandarizado, constante y con más elementos técnicos de análisis respecto de las prácticas, negocios, movimientos contables y el impacto de los hechos económicos al interior de las entidades. Se evidenció que era indispensable una revisión estándar de aspectos tales como rentabilidad, calidad de la generación de utilidades, la calidad en la composición del patrimonio, la estructura y concentración de activos y pasivos y, en general, de otras variables que describen y definen de forma más integral el negocio y el desarrollo de las operaciones de las instituciones financieras.
