Abstract

Diversas son las premisas que viabilizan el desarrollo de la Inteligencia Empresarial (IE), que de alguna forma han marcado las características de los actuales enfoques y determinado, en cierta medida, su evolución, tanto en su fundamentación teórica como práctica. Muchas de estas premisas pueden definirse por la determinación de las tendencias que caracterizan el entorno empresarial y su asimilación. Es por ello que para identificar las perspectivas de desarrollo de la IE se hace necesario abordar algunas de estas tendencias y su interrelación con el desenvolvimiento de la IE, ya sea como teoría, método, herramienta o sistema de trabajo.
