Algunas Reflexiones En Torno A La Economía Contemporánea

Abstract

Es un hecho que la economía y la sociedad no son lo que eran antes, los ritmos y movimientos de nuestras vidas se han modificado a raíz de los cambios sufridos en los procesos de producción, distribución, intercambio y consumo. La ola de modificaciones que se ha presentado puede ser adjudicada al proceso de mundialización o globalización (según se interprete). No se puede permanecer escéptico al cambio y mucho menos quienes hacen política pública, son ellos quienes mayor atención deben prestar a la dirección y condiciones de estos frenéticos movimientos. En este documento se reflexiona de forma preliminar sobre el contexto actual, se discute el proceso de globalización y sus actores fundamentales, se señalan sus consecuencias en términos de asimetría y se indican propuestas para no considerar a la globalización como alternativa.
