Abstract

El temor a una recesión en Estados Unidos y el desplome de las bolsas de valores causaron el martes 22 de enero del 2008, un nuevo descenso del precio del petróleo estadounidense, cuyo tipo West Texas Intermediate (WTI) para entrega de marzo bajó a 86,79 dólares el barril, 1,26 dólares menos que el lunes.
