Abstract

Según la literatura angloamericana es una rama de la teoría del conocimiento. Pero según el Dr Oscar Hernán Muñoz, economista y docente de la Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá, expresa que la perspectiva económica particular permea e influye en las líneas de análisis que se intentan abordar desde la óptica de la filosofía. Para el suscrito, Dr Omar Gómez C, Senior, la Filosofía y la Economía son Ciencias Sociales que tratan de conseguir respuestas a todos los problemas, conflictos, necesidades, relaciones y soluciones concertadas del pensamiento, creación y desenvolvimiento del hombre ó mujer universal. Sin embargo, hay que dejar una definición clara, concisa y sencilla para nuestros lectores de qué es filosofía de la economía. Según Wikipedia, la enciclopedia libre en Internet, la filosofía de la economía es la rama de la filosofía que estudia los aspectos filosóficos de la economía. También se puede definir como la rama de la economía que estudia sus propios principios al lado de sus aspectos morales.
