El nuevo Primer ministro Shinzo Abe y la futura evolución económica de Japón

Abstract

Después de las reformas de Koizumi y de los acontecimientos en la evolución de la economía nipona durante los últimos años, analizaremos su evolución en el 2006 y las perspectivas para los próximos años con el nuevo primer ministro Shinzo Abe. Los bancos japoneses son actualmente menos vulnerables y están en mejores condiciones para apoyar la actividad económica. En esta mejoría han influido principalmente dos aspectos, el primer aspecto es la reestructuración de las empresas y la reactivación económica del país en sentido general y el segundo aspecto los esfuerzos desplegados para intensificar la supervisión bancaria, siendo esencial para sanear el sistema bancario. En este sentido se plantea que las empresas son más sólidas pues han reducido los costos y la capacidad no utilizada, destinando sus ganancias a reducir el endeudamiento.
