Visiones Exógena y Endógena de las Teorías del Crecimiento Económico

Abstract

Con este artículo se persigue conocer las teorías del crecimiento económico, la evolución de su estudio y la diferenciación entre dichas teorías dadas las fuentes de donde proviene, así como analizar el papel que desempeña el progreso tecnológico en el crecimiento exógeno y en el crecimiento endógeno. La importancia reside, por lo tanto, en proporcionar un panorama detallado acerca de lo que determina el crecimiento económico, así como plantear los modelos de crecimiento económico realizados por Solow (1956), de la escuela neoclásica, y de Romer (1986, 1989) y Lucas (1988), de la nueva economía del crecimiento, entre otros.
