La franquicia en España: algunos aspectos, evolución y situación actual

Abstract

La franquicia es una fórmula comercial que ha experimentado un enorme crecimiento en muchos países durante los últimos años. Muchas empresas se plantean su objetivo de expansión mediante esta forma de comercio. De igual modo, la franquicia supone una excelente oportunidad de desarrollo personal y empresarial para muchas personas, de ahí que una gran cantidad de empresarios, antes de constituirse como tal, se informen del funcionamiento de este sistema, así como de sus ventajas e inconvenientes. El objetivo que se plantea con este trabajo es ofrecer una visión sintética y actualizada de la franquicia en España, que pueda servir tanto a los franquiciadores como a los franquiciados para tener un conocimiento de la situación real de este sector tan importante para la economía española. Asimismo se señala la normativa nacional y europea aplicable en España, así como se describen las asociaciones y las ferias y salones de franquicia existentes en España, que pueden facilitar la obtención de información sobre este sistema.
