Cambio Climático: de Adán al Protocolo de Kyoto

Abstract

Desde tiempos inmemoriales el ser humano ha interactuado con los recursos naturales disponibles en su medio, y valiéndose de los mismos logró forjar su cultura y su identidad, ha crecido intelectualmente en la misma medida en que con técnicas nuevas iba dominando el planeta que nos cobija; siempre creando, siempre haciendo, siempre siendo el dueño de sus decisiones y de su futuro. A partir de la Revolución Industrial y debido a la quema de combustibles fósiles -petróleo y carbón especialmente- cambió la relación atmosférica de gases de efecto invernadero aumentando la temperatura media del último siglo, en una proporción mayor que en los últimos 10.000 años, afectando seriamente el futuro de las generaciones venideras.
