Revisión teórica de la politica de seguridad democrática

Abstract

Adam Smith justifica que el Estado a través del gobierno tiene tres obligaciones con los individuos que son (1) proteger a los ciudadanos de la violencia; (2) protección de la injusticia y la opresión; (3) conservación de instituciones y obras públicas. A partir de allí se examinan las implicaciones de estos servicios fundamentales de la relación Estado-sociedad, adicionando las consecuencias de la implementación en Colombia de una mal llamada Política de Seguridad Democrática, que asigna mayor importancia a lo urbano sobre lo rural, al rico sobre el pobre. Y que ha desencadenado en el beneficio de unos a expensas del dolor y sufrimiento de otros.
