Accidentalidad en España desde la ley de prevención

Abstract

El objeto del presente trabajo es aquilatar en lo posible la incidencia que ha tenido sobre la accidentalidad laboral, desde la publicación de la ley de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales (comienzos de 1996), el cambio de riesgo laboral como consecuencia de la variación de la ocupación, el aumento de la relación entre asalariados y ocupados, y el crecimiento económico. Se ha partido –como no podía ser menos- de los índices de incidencia, pero se ha avanzado algo más en el instrumental técnico al emplearse el test de Pearson en el análisis de los factores del agravamiento. Se somete a una crítica radical algunas ideas firmemente asentadas como la de identificar el riesgo de accidente y su frecuencia y la de solapar la disuasión de la accidentalidad con la necesidad de su financiación; y por último se discute sobre el tamaño muestral mínimo de la accidentalidad mortal como una medida de la accidentalidad total.
