Este documento se desarrolla como un primer acercamiento muy general a los diferentes tipos de estudios que hoy se pueden encontrar sobre la conexión que existe entre comercio internacional y la distribución del ingreso, de esta manera se ha tratado de enmarcar las investigaciones en dos grandes grupos, que seguramente recogen el grueso de los principales líneas de investigación que hoy siguen los mas importantes centros de estudios en el mundo.
