Abstract

En la actualidad, la generalidad de los Bancos Centrales de los países en desarrollo y emergentes aceptan y aplican como política la consecución de objetivos inflacionarios, este hecho tiene consecuencia a nivel de política monetaria, originado por la aceptación de una diversidad de supuestos que engloba varias teorías económicas en tiempos anteriores, en este sentido este estudio pretende describir dichos supuestos a la luz de entender sus implicaciones en política económica en general y en la monetaria específicamente.
