Aprobación de la campaña de construcción de ciudadanas resilientes en el estado de Paraná, Brasil

Abstract

Con la creciente ocurrencia de desastres en el mundo y la consiguiente devastación de bienes y vidas, se originaron acuerdos y marcos globales para la reducción del riesgo de desastres en países como el Marco de Sendai, actualmente en vigor. Para cumplir con estos hitos, la Oficina de Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (UNISDR) lanzó la campaña "Construyendo ciudades resilientes: ¡Mi ciudad se está preparando!" Para ayudar a los gerentes locales a implementar los objetivos y acciones de resiliencia ante desastres. El objetivo de este estudio es presentar todos los procedimientos adoptados para apoyar a los municipios del estado de Paraná en la construcción de ciudades más resistentes. La metodología adoptada por la Protección y Protección Civil de Paraná se resume en cinco etapas principales: Adherencia a la Campaña, Creación del Comité de Resiliencia, Creación del Perfil en Prevención, Autoevaluación y Elaboración del Plan de Resiliencia Municipal. Entre los resultados parciales, hay 321 municipios en la campaña, de un total de 399, además de su progreso en la construcción de ciudades resilientes.
