Sistema de apoio ao deficiente visual

Abstract

Este artigo tem o propósito de suprir a necessidade que existe entre deficientes visuais. Para tanto, foi necessário pesquisar quais são as principais dificuldades que existem para esse grupo da sociedade, como desenvolver um protótipo para solucionar algumas situações. Dessa forma, apresentamos a o histórico de tecnologias assistivas, desde o Braille até os aplicativos de smartphones, discutimos e traçamos estratégias para implementar um protótipo capaz de auxiliar deficientes visuais. Essa discussão teve como base os estudos de BERSCH (2008), SANTOS (2017), LOPES; DE MARCHI (2015), dentre outros. A metodologia adotada foi de pesquisa qualitativa. Analisando os dados obtidos até o momento, de acordo com a revisão bibliográfica levantada, existem diversas possibilidades interessantes no âmbito da tecnologia assistiva, com sua grande maioria focada em aplicativos de smartphone.
