Influência das politicas de integração da Amazônia nas dinâmicas demograficas da região Norte do Brasil

Abstract

Este artigo tem por objetivo principal analisar as influências das políticas de integração da Amazônia do Governo Federal brasileiro, a partir da segunda metade do século XX, sobre as dinâmicas demográficas da região Norte do Brasil (Região que abriga a maior parte da Amazônia brasileira). Esta analise se justifica na observação do extraordinário incremento populacional pelo qual passou a região Norte do Brasil durante e após as ações governamentais sobre a Amazônia. Os resultados revelam que em toda a região Norte do Brasil houve uma significativa alteração do quadro demográfico após a segunda metade do século XX, porém, essas alterações demonstraram mais efetivas nos Estados onde as interversões governamentais foram mais proeminentes.
