Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar los resultados de las entrevistas realizadas a los cinco casos de madres solteras de las estudiantes de la carrera de trabajo social de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí. Para evidenciar este trabajó, se utilizó el método descriptivo y documental, para poder obtener información precisa y veras de los diferentes criterios de los investigadores de esta problemática social. Los antecedentes de separación conyugal, el cual alteró su proceso normal afectivo y emocional lo que en muchas ocasiones estas personas prefieren ser madres solteras y no estar condicionadas y recibiendo maltratos por parte de su pareja. Existieron muchas complicaciones para poder estar junto a sus hijos y ayudarlos en su proceso prenatal formación académica; sin embargo, en muchas ocasiones los prejuicios sociales por ser madres solteras no ha sido impedimento para que ellas puedan superarse y sacar a sus hijos adelante.
