Abstract

As reflexões presentes neste artigo, constituem-se elementos de uma pesquisa histórica ancorada na metodologia da história oral e na indissociável relação entre as categorias conceituais história e memória, cujo escopo é analisar as narrativas alguns trabalhadores submetidos ao trabalho escravo contemporâneo no Maranhão. Com o intento de contribuir para o aprofundamento dos estudos e reflexões acerca do trabalho escravo contemporâneo no Brasil.
