Abstract

O referido trabalho objetiva verificar a política de acesso à educação superior (PROUNI e ENEM) nos governos petistas e o semblante de “democratização†deste nível de ensino apregoado por este governo. Para trato metodológico optamos em desenvolver uma análise bibliográfica e documental, todavia, o método de análise selecionado para tal empreitada foi o materialismo histórico-dialético, pois busca empreender uma análise da totalidade destacando a essência e aparência do objeto. Utilizamos com fontes documentais a legislação do PROUNI, bem como do ENEM, dentre outros. Consideramos que as políticas universais têm sua existência ameaçada com o fim do Estado providência, auferindo, dessa forma, espaços às políticas focalizadas, identificadas pela participação micro do Estado nas políticas sociais e o fortalecimento neoliberal.
