Abstract

Las sociedades desarrollan, dentro de su marco cultural, convenciones y patrones socioculturales que son reproducidos en una diversidad de espacios privados y públicos. Hay un grupo de factores que explican el consumo de drogas en jóvenes, algunos de ellos asociados a la pertenencia a grupos que practican ciertos rituales como señal de mayoría de edad. Indagar los factores socioculturales asociados al consumo de droga, nos permitió situar las prácticas culturales que condicionan los primeros contactos de los niños y adolescentes con sustancias que devienen más tarde, en adicción, en el espacio doméstico: la familia.
