Consumo Cultural, Mediaciones Y Prácticas Culturales En Las Sociedades Globalizadas

Abstract

Los cambios que se suscitan en las maneras de consumir están modificando los comportamientos en individuos y grupos sociales, cada vez más visibles en nuestros entornos familiares, citadinos y rurales. Estos cambios revelan la capacidad que tienen los actores sociales para apropiarse de los bienes, así como los modos de emplearlos. Precisamente el artículo quiere sugerir algunas líneas teóricas que permitan ver los procesos de consumo como algo más complejo que la relación entre medios tecnológicos y comunicación y focalizar la atención en las prácticas culturales reproductoras de los nuevos escenarios en que hoy se producen las apropiaciones simbólicas.
