Abstract

En el imaginario de las sociedades patriarcales aún persisten creencias sobre el origen natural de la desigualdad social entre el hombre y la mujer y sobre todo de la inferioridad de la mujer. Constituyen algunos de los supuestos más generales, las diferencias reducidas al sexo biológico, a la reproducción, a la lactancia materna y a la respuesta sexual humana en detrimento de las féminas. Sin embargo, organismos como la ONU se pronuncian en promover la igualdad entre los géneros y la autonomía de la mujer, como uno de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio.
