A Importância Das Virtudes Cívicas Para O Futuro Da Humanidade Diante Das Crises Do Estado Pós-Moderno

Abstract

O artigo analisa, inicialmente, as principais crises pelas quais passa o Estado moderno, podendo-se inclusive falar em um Estado pós-moderno. Em seguida, concentramos o foco na importância das virtudes cívicas como condição de possibilidade para a existência da convivência cosmopolita e, em última instância, para o futuro da humanidade. O objetivo é demonstrar como as virtudes cívicas são relevantes para a definição dos preceitos estatais e da própria condição da vida humana. O estudo se caracteriza como pesquisa bibliográfica e documental e o método utilizado é o dedutivo.
