O Terceiro Setor Como Forma De Implementar A Inclusão Social De Jovens E Adultos Com Deficiência

Abstract

O presente artigo aborda o Terceiro Setor, que vem sendo apresentado como alternativa para atender as demandas locais da sociedade, por terem atuações mais ágeis e com maior capacidade de inserção que o Estado. Essas organizações surgiram devido às condições sócio-econômicas do país, e sofreram alterações, passando a serem patrocinadas também pela iniciativa particular. Aqui, iremos definir o primeiro, segundo e o terceiro setor, dando ênfase ao Terceiro Setor. Descreveremos os segmentos do terceiro setor e demonstraremos também um caso de um projeto social desenvolvido por uma universidade particular, projeto este que visa atender jovens e adultos com deficiência. A universidade, por meio das ações sociais desenvolvidas, é considerada um ponto de referência na região leste da cidade de São Paulo.
