Companhia Docas Do Pará (Cdp): Plataforma Logística Do Capital Internacional Na Amazônia Oriental

Abstract

A partir de 2007, começa a ser constituída uma estratégica nacional, no seio do governo federal. Estratégia essa direcionada por meio de investimentos estratégicos relacionados à logística de transportes, portos e ao setor energético. Foram reproduzidas políticas, programas e projetos. Entre os principais estão: o Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento - PAC, o Plano Nacional de Logística e Transportes - PNLT, a Iniciativa de Integração Sul-americana - IIRSA. A Companhia Docas do Pará (CDP) se insere nesse contexto por ser a empresa que administra e explora as áreas portuárias paraenses (porto de Santarém, Vila do Conde, Belém, Itaituba, Óbidos, Altamira, Miramar e Outeiro). Considerando tal discussão, o objetivo deste artigo é analisar, criticamente, o papel da CDP e dos seus portos diante do avanço das frentes econômicas em direção à Amazônia Oriental, os investimentos e as suas adequações para o recebimento do capital internacional.
