Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é verificar algumas nuances do relacionamento entre Brasil e Bolívia, que incitados por postulados e práticas geopolíticas durante os séculos XIX (a partir de sua segunda metade) e XX produziram interações espaciais na Zona de Fronteira Brasil/Bolívia, em Mato Grosso do Sul, na qual se localiza a cidade de Corumbá/MS, cuja principal consequência fora o surgimento de intensas relações transfronteiriças.
