Abstract

A través del presente artículo se develan algunos de los factores que obstaculizan la aplicación consecuente de las políticas de desarrollo rural en América Latina, región donde la instrumentación de modelos de desarrollo externos ha condicionado históricamente la perdida de protagonismo de la comunidad rural, considerada hoy como el único espacio posible a través del cual se pueden gestionar con eficiencia los recursos humanos, culturales, económicos y naturales, presentes en un territorio rural en el ámbito latinoamericano.
