Consideraciones Sobre La Dimensión Ética En Ciencia Y Tecnología

Abstract

La tecnología se ha convertido en un factor de poder en las relaciones internacionales, ambas son procesos sociales, encaminados al propio desarrollo de la humanidad. La ciencia debe estar al servicio del conocimiento y la razón para contribuir a la emancipación del ser humano, lejos de la influencia del poder, debe detenerse ante el juicio moral sin pretender juzgarla ni invalidar sus propuestas. Tanto la ciencia como la tecnología modifican todas las formas de vida, establecen nuevas creencias, comportamientos e ideologías. El vertiginoso impulso de la ciencia y la tecnología nos conduce a valorar cada vez más las consecuencias e impactos que este causa a la naturaleza y a la sociedad; razón por la cual pretendemos plasmar en este apartado algunas consideraciones sobre su dimensión ética.
