Abstract

La Academia de Artes Plásticas de Las Tunas, es una institución cultural de gran importancia dentro del movimiento artístico y cultural del territorio, emblemática de la enseñanza artística en la medida en que forma profesionales de esta manifestación del arte, considerados también como promotores culturales por excelencia. La escuela orienta su quehacer hacia la consideración de la cultura como núcleo fundamental de su vida cotidiana que determina la formación cultural de la población y desde ahí su influencia en el desarrollo cultural de la provincia. El estudio culturológico acerca de la Academia de Artes plásticas, se orienta a través del proceso de la enseñanza artística en la realización de actividades que realiza la institución, junto a sus estudiantes, profesores y egresados, lo que determina su influencia en el desarrollo cultural del territorio desde un enfoque socioeducativo y cultural que amplía sus posibilidades de acción a partir de las necesidades culturales de Las Tunas y en correspondencia con la creación artística.
