Abstract

La personalidad constituye el atributo esencial de la persona, y a lo largo de la historia su contenido ha ido cambiando desde los tiempos de Roma hasta llegar a nuestros días, existiendo opiniones diversas en cuanto a su nacimiento y extinción, variable de acuerdo al ordenamiento jurídico que se analiza. En función de ello, es objetivo fundamental del presente trabajo analizar la regulación de la personalidad en el ordenamiento jurídico civil ecuatoriano, y establecer similitudes y diferencias con su homólogo cubano.
