Abstract

La influencia de la cultura en el desarrollo es decisiva, tanto que no se puede hablar de cultura al margen de la sociedad, como no se puede hablar de sociedad humana sin el hombre. El empeño de educar al pueblo, hacen que la cultura se socialice y que vivamos un proceso llamado masificación de la cultura. El trabajo es resultado de una investigación realizada en la comunidad de la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas, perteneciente a la Universidad de Las Tunas, como parte de la Maestría en Desarrollo Cultural Comunitario del Centro Universitario de Las Tunas, cuyo objetivo es caracterizar socioculturalmente la comunidad, profundizar conocimientos, información, reforzar y desarrollar valores que permitan conformar su memoria histórica, conocer sus gustos, preferencias, necesidades culturales y ampliar su cultura general integral, partiendo de la concepción que ellos son objeto y sujeto de su propia formación.
