La Importancia De La Relación Biblioteca, Información Y Comunidad Para El Desarrollo Local: Un Problema A Resolver Por La Bibliotecología Y La Ciencias De La Información

Abstract

La solución a los problemas informacionales ha sido una preocupación de la Bibliotecología y las Ciencias de la Información, ellas se basan en la existencia de pasos que facilitan el uso y manejo de la información. Ambas ciencias son la base para la solución a la problemática social que se plantea en el presente artículo: necesidad de un servicio de información en la comunidad que además de obtener una información local básica, permita ponerla en función del desarrollo económico, cultural y social de la comunidad. En el artículo se aborda elementos teóricos relacionados con la ciencia, tecnología y la sociedad, para ello seconsultaron varios autores que han venido tratando la temática. Se propone la realización de una estrategia de superación sobre el proceso de relación biblioteca, información y comunidad, dirigida a los bibliotecarios o profesionales de información, como propuesta de solución de la problemática presentada.
