Niños, Adolescentes Y El Camino Hacia Las Adicciones. Una Lectura Desde El Genero

Abstract

En esta ponencia se brinda un resumen de las principales conceptualizaciones que realizan las ciencias médicas sobre las adicciones como una de las principales disciplinas encargadas de su estudio e intervención en términos de salud. En este sentido en la actualidad son numerosas las problemáticas sociales y de salud que continúan produciéndose cada vez con mayor auge. Tal es el caso de las Adicciones que tanto afectan la calidad de vida y la salud de las personas, pero sobre todo edades tan vulnerables como lo son la infancia y la adolescencia, ya sea directa e indirectamente. Se pretende además realizar un acercamiento a esta problemática a partir de los conocimientos que aporta la Teoría de género, concepto que resulta categoría de análisis y herramienta metodológica que permite analizar la relación hombre- mujer en sus diferentes contextos de actuación y atraviesa múltiples aspectos de su existencia como la salud.
