Determinantes Del Conocimiento Sociológico Para El Análisis Cultural

Abstract

El artículo nace de la necesidad de incursionar acerca de los desarrollos de la ciencia sociológica en la región de Santiago de Cuba, particularmente en lo relativo a los temas culturales en los últimos 20 años. El hilo conductor del artículo es el análisis de las determinantes sociales para la construcción sociológica del conocimiento a partir de procesos articuladores tales como las instituciones científicas, el papel de las políticas científicas, los espacios socializadores de conocimiento y las publicaciones gestadas en las últimas 3 décadas. Se argumenta el renacimiento académico de dicha ciencia en las universidades, la lógica investigativa seguida por las instituciones dedicadas a los temas culturales y los retos que deberán ser asumidos por los académicos para su abordaje.
