Abstract

Uno de los males que genera este flagelo es precisamente el hambre, padecida hoy por millones de personas, particularmente pobres, la mayoría niñas, niños y adolescentes, a los que diariamente les va cobrando la vida, pues cada seis segundos, muere uno en algún lugar del mundo de malnutrición por no tener acceso a la alimentación, que constituye una de las necesidades esenciales de los seres humanos y por tanto convertido en un derecho que se reconoce en diferentes instrumentos internacionales como la Declaración Universal de los derechos Humanos y la Convención de los Derechos de los niños y las niñas.
