Las Fuentes De Información Online Como Soporte Tecnológico En La Sociedad De La Información

Abstract

Las Fuentes de Información han tenido un papel protagonista a lo largo de la historia, ya que diferentes usuarios como docentes e investigadores las han utilizado para dar a conocer sus informes científicos en la Sociedad de la Información. Esta investigación aborda el buen uso de las Fuentes de Información online en el área de Lengua Española. Así, Internet, refrendado por las Tecnologías de la Información y de la Comunicación (TIC), se ha convertido en un gran contenedor en el que se puede encontrar cualquier tipo de referencia acerca de los temas más diversos. Buscadores, Metabuscadores, Páginas Web, Catálogos Colectivos de Bibliotecas y Bases de Datos Bibliográficas se han consolidado como útiles herramientas de conocimiento. La ventaja de su uso es la eliminación de las barreras espacio-temporales, pero su principal inconveniente radica en la dificultad para discernir la información relevante de la accesoria.
