Abstract

La familia, célula fundamental de sociedad, constituye una categoría histórica –social, unidad social básica que ha resistido los efectos desintegradores de la sociedad moderna y seguirá siendo importante por las funciones que realiza. Aborda el nuevo papel de mujer en la sociedad así como la evolución de los hombres, en función de la equidad de género y aunque en nuestro país se realizó un profunda revolución social, está, no ha podido borrar los puntos de referencia culturales promovidos durante milenios, los cambios en la familia cubana son más desde lo socioestructural que desde actitudes, creencias e ideas.
