Abstract

El proceso de perfeccionamiento continuo de la Educación Superior Cubana, encaminado a alcanzar una Universidad cada vez más pertinente, que de respuesta a las necesidades e intereses de la sociedad, ha sido una prioridad del gobierno erigido en Cuba en 1959. Consecuentes con este propósito, desde el triunfo revolucionario del 1ro de enero, se han tomado medidas para asegurar que los egresados de la Enseñanza Superior, además de capacidades cognitivas, posean habilidades definidas y valores necesarios no solo para la convivencia humana sino también, para desempeñarse adecuadamente en un ambiente de continuos cambios, donde los objetivos tienden a ser cada vez más exigentes, y requieren de la elevación de la calidad del desempeño.
