Abstract

La modernidad, proceso universal y contradictorio que en los últimos tiempos se ha convertido en punto de referencia para la investigación social, será el objeto de la reflexión del presente trabajo. Contextualmente, se parte de la precisión de sus características fundamentales: el imperio de la razón sobre la fé medieval, la creación de las condiciones objetivas para la delimitación de la individualidad en la colectividad humana, la consolidación de las relaciones mercantiles de producción; y del entorno polarizante en cuyos marcos se fueron abriendo paso en la historia.
