Abstract

El autor postula la similitud de los organizamos vivos, con las organizaciones de personas, analiza los fenómenos de la autopoiesis y la emergencia, y los aplica a la gestión de la organizaciones, creando una visión sistémica de las mismas. Analiza también las consecuencias de la globalización financiera diseñada desde el consenso de Washington, y los perniciosos efectos medioambientales de este modo de organización de la sociedad. Plantea la necesidad de un cambio de paradigma que permita crear una sociedad sustentable.
