Abstract

Desde los inicios de la humanidad, el hombre ha usado la vía marítima para transportarse de un lugar a otro. Sin embargo, con el progreso de la humanidad fueron evolucionando los medios de transporte; pero el desarrollo nunca ha sido parejo en las diferentes regiones por causa del egoísmo y el interés económico del hombre. Por tanto Cuba no debía ser la excepción. En los años en que se sucedían los gobiernos de turno, muchas regiones permanecían olvidadas, abandonadas a su propia suerte y sus moradores tenían que solventar sus necesidades con los medios más primitivos que se pudieran encontrar en las primeras décadas del siglo XX.
