El Anexionismo En Cuba Durante La Década Final Del Siglo Xviii Y Todo El Siglo Xix

Abstract

Este artículo es un acercamiento a las posturas reformistas dentro de la Isla durante la década final del siglo XVIII y todo el siglo XIX. La mirada en retrospectiva pretende demostrar la variedad de pensamiento en un rango de tiempo comprendido entre estos dos siglos. Evidencia la situación de Cuba a lo largo de la historia, bajo la mirada del anexionismo, visto como una solución a los problemas coloniales. Se destaca la labor ideológica de José Antonio Saco, así como las diferencias que convergen dentro de una misma línea de pensamiento, para concluir con la figura de José Martí y su acción por luchar en la unión de los cubanos en la emigración y la superación de resentimientos.
